What level of Italian do I need to start?
You can start at any level. During the 30 minute trial lesson I assess your current skills and needs, then design a learning path that is appropriate for you, from absolute beginner to advanced.
Do you teach complete beginners?
Yes, I regularly work with complete beginners. The first lessons focus on building confidence with basic vocabulary, pronunciation and simple everyday situations, so you can start speaking Italian from the very beginning.
Which platform and tools do you use for online lessons?
Lessons are usually held on ClassIn, but if it doesn’t work for you we can schedule Zoom or Google Meet depending on what is most convenient for you. I also use interactive digital tools, shared documents and online whiteboards, so that materials are always accessible and lessons remain dynamic and engaging.
How often should I take lessons to make progress?
Consistency is more important than intensity. In most cases, one or two lessons per week, combined with a small amount of self study, are enough to see steady progress. During the trial lesson we decide together the best rhythm based on your goals and schedule.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any fee. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are normally charged, except in case of emergencies.
Do you give homework and extra practice between lessons?
Yes. At the end of each lesson I assign short, targeted tasks to reinforce what we have done in class. When useful, I also provide extra practice materials, such as readings, videos or listening activities, so that you can keep in touch with Italian between one session and the next.
